For more than 80 years it has produced independent, data-driven analysis on Utah's economy, housing, education, health, environment, and governance to inform policymakers, businesses, and residents. The Foundation conducts research through reports, briefs, and online resources, and disseminates findings via publications and events. Its mission is to provide accurate, understandable information to support sound policymaking and improve the quality of life across the state. The organization relies on memberships, sponsorships, foundations, and grants and emphasizes accessible data, balanced perspectives, and public engagement.
