Methodology and sourcing behind the figures shown above.

Real-time market data and analytics

Estimated the financial real-time market data & analytics segment as a subset of broader real-time analytics. Used reported global real-time analytics market sizes and BFSI share to derive a plausible range (≈6.5–15.3B) and selected the midpoint (~11.0B). Estimated CAGR (≈16%) as a conservative midpoint of reported CAGRs (13.9%–26.2%), adjusted downward for the relative maturity of financial market-data services versus broader streaming-analytics deployments.

Historical financial and economic time series

Used the provided time-series forecasting market report as a proximate market estimate for historical financial and economic time-series data services. The report values the global time series forecasting market at about USD 0.33 billion (2026) with a 5.2% CAGR (2026–2035). Other search results describe applications and methods but do not contain explicit market-size or growth figures.

Company and industry research and analysis

The provided search results do not include explicit market size or CAGR for company/industry research databases. I therefore estimated using internal knowledge of adjacent markets (global market-research services and financial/information services) and the combined revenues of major data/analytics vendors. Company and industry research/databases (subscription/analytics platforms used for valuation, competitive and industry analysis) likely represent a multi‑billion global segment—roughly $30–40B—supported by recurring subscription models, increasing data-driven decisioning, and ongoing productization (SaaS, APIs, AI). Growth potential is mid- to high-single-digit CAGR (~7.5%) reflecting steady digital adoption, expansion of paid data access, and analytics-driven upsell.

Research data repository

Estimate based on the GrowthMarketReports industry report which explicitly states the research data repositories market size (USD 3.1B in 2024) and a projected CAGR of 10.2% (2025–2033) reaching USD 7.4B by 2033.
