Sources

Methodology and sourcing behind the figures and links shown above.

Pollinator-friendly turf seed

Used reported global sports/turf/lawn-seed market totals as the top-level proxy (sources show ~USD 4–6B range and low-to-mid single-digit CAGRs). Pollinator-friendly turf seed is a niche premium subset of lawn/turf seed (assumed ~5% share of the broader turf/lawn seed market) with stronger demand from sustainability, municipal pollinator initiatives, and premium residential adoption, so it is estimated at ~USD 0.3B globally and to grow faster than the base market (estimated CAGR ~10%).

Consumer lawn care education and seasonal guidance

Used the provided lawn-care market result showing a 6.1% CAGR as the primary growth benchmark. Estimated the consumer education/seasonal guidance segment as a small fraction of overall lawn-care spend: assumed a large US lawn-care market (industry knowledge), typical marketing budgets (~3–5% of industry revenue), and that content/newsletter/education captures a share of that marketing spend plus modest direct consumer subscription revenue. Combining these assumptions yields an addressable market around $1.0B (US-focused) with growth aligned to the broader lawn-care market (~6.1% CAGR).

Industry events, training, and community engagement

Primary estimate uses the corporate events market figure (conferences, workshops, trade shows, training) reported by Market Research Future: USD 745.21 billion (2024) and a 4.43% CAGR (2025–2035). Adjacent community engagement/platform software markets are much smaller but growing faster (Future Market Insights: ~USD 4.31 billion in 2025 at 18.3% CAGR; Business Research Insights: USD 0.48 billion in 2026 at ~13.5% CAGR), indicating the software/engagement layer is high-growth but represents a small share of total events/training spend.
